? of the entire body’s bones are in your feet. There are over 26 bones, 33 joints and 33 muscles in your foot, and everybody’s feet are Adidas Superstar Dam Vita different, just like your fingerprint. Make sure you get the perfect fit for your feet from an expert rather than friends, sales or hand me downs. Pop in to your local Athlete’s Foot at least once a year for a free shoe check up too.
Bunions are extremely common and not just seen in girls feet (Check out Steve’s experience here). A good fitting shoe is Nike Cortez Damen essential for bunions. The best shoes Nike Air Max 95 Dam for bunions offer a seam free lining (stops irritation or hot spots) and also is a wide fitting shoe with a roomy toe box. If you’ve got a bunion, there’s a very high chance you overpronate, and therefore will also need some good stability features in your shoes.
What was the best shoe advice or tip you’ve received? On the 26th June, the annual City Mile Dash is on – a 1 mile run (1.6km) run around the fantastic setting at Barangaroo Point, Sydney.

The Cit Mile Dash was created by Cancer Council NSW to raise funds – and with a great cause and an extremely short distance, it’s the perfect event to get your work buddies involved (1.6km is only 1600 metres!). Nike Janoski Damen Teams have to be in groups of 4 and you can register yours here.

The team from The Athlete’s Foot The Galeries & Mizuno Running will be at the event – look out for their marquee and you’ll be able to road test some Mizuno shoes – try Nike Air Vapormax Womens them on and even test them out for the race. This is the shortest fun run you can do and is great for any fitness level. Use this to sell it to your work mates.
– The course is 800m out and 800m back. This gives you a good indication of how long is left in the race.
– Don’t burn out in the first few hundred metres – find your rhythm for the first 200m (especially as you weave around everyone else!) and save your energy to unleash in the last 500m on the way back.
– Don’t drink or eat too much within the hour before hand – this is a 1.6km race, not 160km.
– If you do get a stitch during the race/sprint – inhale deeply and exhale strongly – repeat for a Nike Free 5.0 Herre few breaths. This often helps runners alleviate the stitch for a short period of time without having to stop.

Come and join us for a Friday session (running that is) on the 26th June to kick start another great Sydney weekend. See you there!
